Today is Luke's 12th birthday. I woke him for school this morning by singing "Happy Birthday." He went to middle school for math, as he does every day. Afterwards we took at quick trip to Walmart in search of thermal underwear. We had no luck on that particular quest. Then we headed home where Luke opened all his birthday cards. He didn't want a birthday lunch. Nor does he want a birthday cake. It seems he wants the day to be low-key.
He is planning a trip to Sky Zone in the near future, possibly this Sunday. Charlie will not be jumping on the trampolines this time. His back is still recovering from when he did that for Luke's 1/2 birthday in August.
We have snow on the ground. Most days have been in the 20s. Today is a high of 40. It feels like spring when the sun is out. We may get a little snow overnight.
